Gary P. Mooney, MA, M. Phil, PhD JD, D.Com, LL.D

Gary P. Mooney, D.Com LLD is President and CEO of LCLS.  He is Managing Partner of Anderson Sinclair LLP; and has been called to the Bar in Ontario, Alberta, Newfoundland, and Nova Scotia.  He serves on many boards, including:  the Governing Council, University of Toronto; Landmark College; Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation; Canadian Orthopaedic Foundation; CADDAC, Learning Disabilities Association Canada; Credit Valley Hospital Foundation; and Dean’s Advisory Council, Osgoode Hall Law School.

Gary Mooney has spent many years pioneering the title insurance and lender services industry in Canada.  As Chairman and CEO of LandCanada Financial Services Limited he created an innovative mortgage document processing solution that changed the way lending institutions completed mortgage transactions.   In 2003 he accepted a purchase offer from Jacksonville, Florida-based Fidelity National Financial Inc and subsequently took on the role of President and Chief Executive Officer, followed by Chairman in 2009, of the newly formed FNF Canada and chief title agent for Chicago Title Insurance Company Canada.

Gary Mooney has been awarded multiple degrees from multiple universities including Cambridge University, Osgoode Hall Law School, University of Toronto, University of Guelph and Saint Mary’s University.  In 2003 he received the Queen’s Jubilee Medal for leadership and service to the community in recognition of his leadership in a wide range of community organizations; as well as the Queen’s Centenary Medal for public service.

He was given a Paul Harris Fellowship by Rotary for being the first President of a Canadian Club to open its doors to women.  In 2004, Gary was recognized as 2004 Business Person of the Year by the Mississauga Board of Trade for his important contributions to the economic well-being of the City of Mississauga and its citizens.  He was awarded the Gold Key Award in 2005 by Osgoode Hall Law School and the Arbour Award by the University of Toronto, all for distinguished contribution to the community and the legal profession.

John Williams, LL.B

After two (2) years of undergraduate studies, John obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Toronto in 1970. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1972.

After 14 years on Bay Street with his own firm with a practice increasingly focused on family law, John joined Anderson Sinclair LLP in 1986 and had become a full partner of Anderson Sinclair LLP within three (3) months.

Since 1986, John has restricted his practice to family law and has represented clients in Courtrooms throughout the Greater Toronto Area in negotiating an out of Court settlement or Court resolution of all issues arising from family relationships whether marriage or common law.

Because of the horrific expense, emotion and risk of Court proceedings and litigation to resolve family disputes, John’s preference and success has been in his ability to negotiate a compromise settlement mutually acceptable to both spouses while working at the same time cooperative and creatively with the other party’s counsel. John believes that only through such creativity, cooperation and compromise can parties resolve their relationship with their mutual respect, emotions and finances intact.

From the beginning of his professional career, John has also been involved in the area of Wills, Estate planning and Estate administration. John has worked with hundreds of clients organizing their family affairs to ensure their respective Estates pass on to whom they want and on terms imposed by them and not dictated by the government of the day.

John is devoted to his clients and will work diligently and efficiently with you in resolving your relationship separation and Estate planning needs.

Sherri Bennett, BA, LL.B

Dean Glinos, B.Sc, JD

Dean graduated from law school in Chicago and was called to the Illinois Bar in 1991.  After practicing in Chicago for five years, Dean moved back to Toronto, attended Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1998.  Dean joined Anderson, Sinclair in 1999, as the lawyer in charge of the real estate department and continues to practice almost exclusively in the area of residential real estate.

Dean is licensed to practice law in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador and Illinois.  Sponsored by several of the major banks, Dean has given dozens of first time home buyer seminars and was a featured speaker at the Independent Mortgage Brokers Association convention.

Ethan M. Rogers, LL.B

Ethan received his B.A. in 1998 from York University (Toronto, Ontario) and graduated with his LL.B. in 2001 from the University of Western Ontario (London, Ontario). Ethan articled with the Toronto firm, Jones Rogers LLP and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002. While he began his career in Toronto, where he practiced for approximately two years after his call to the Bar, Ethan accepted an Associate position in Peel Region with the firm of Prouse, Dash & Crouch LLP in 2004. Immediately prior to joining Anderson Sinclair in July 0f 2011, Ethan was one of two Partners with the Mississauga law firm, Daigle & Hancock Professional Corporation.

Ethan has a broad practice that includes Employment law representation on behalf of employers and employees and carriage of litigation matters in the Commercial, Contract, Corporate, Debtor-Creditor, Employment, Human Rights, Insurance, Property, Real Estate and Tort law contexts. Ethan also has a keen interest in Fraud-related Litigation and has assisted various clients with the resolution of such matters.

Ethan has appeared before various courts and tribunals and has a strong record of success in achieving results for his clients at various stages in the litigation process. He has acted for a broad range of clients. He has represented both Plaintiff and Defendant interests in litigation matters and has acted for individuals and corporations alike.

With respect to Employment law matters, Ethan acts for both employers and employees, thereby encouraging him to approach such matters with a reasonable and balanced approach bent on finding answers to questions and resolutions to issues rather than prolonging litigation matters unnecessarily.

Ethan entered into the legal field with a desire to assist others to achieve just resolutions to their disputes. Recognizing the limitations of litigation with respect to achieving that goal, he approaches each file with a pragmatic and conscientious attitude in an attempt to achieve the best results for his clients, given their particular circumstances.
